Control System

Control Systems Engineering is a compulsory subject for Mechatronic Engineering students. The student using this text should have completed typical lower-division courses in physics and mathematics through differential equations. This subject will cover Introduction of Control System, Block Diagram, Transfer Function, Pole and Zeroes and Stability. At the end of this subject, the students will be able to understand, utilize the concept of the control systems, especially when joining in the Mechatronic field.

DME1100 Applied Physics

This course attempts to provide the fundamentals of physics and their analysis which will be useful to all engineers.  To learn the foundation of physics concepts like vector, motion in one dimension, energy conservation and heat.  It is imperative that the students must understand the fundamentals of physics concepts and apply it in their daily life.

HYDRAULIC AND PNEUMATIC

Fluid power system includes a hydraulic system (hydra meaning water in Greek) and a pneumatic system (pneuma meaning air in Greek). Oil hydraulic employs pressurized liquid petroleum oils and synthetic oils, and pneumatic employs compressed air that is released to the atmosphere after performing the work. Both pneumatics and hydraulics are applications of fluid power. Pneumatics uses an easily compressible gas such as air or a suitable pure gas—while hydraulics uses relatively incompressible liquid media such as oil.
