DIT 2142 Database Management Systems
This course introduces the basic and concepts of database
systems that provides the academic
knowledge and understanding and equip the students with the basic SQL skills. Students
will learn and apply the data modeling skills and the ability to integrate
these with an appreciation of the usefulness of appropriate database management
software.
DIT 2231 MOBILE COMPUTING

DIT1131 Introduction to IT
The course covers fundamentals of PC hardware and software as well as
fundamentals of network and security.
DIT1341 Multimedia Technology
This
is a multimedia course using several applications specializing in multimedia
design and development. Student will be introduced to the vital multimedia
elements and the implementation of problem solving; generating creativity and
new skills in multimedia designing which involves manipulation of text, audio,
video, images and animation as well as to provide fundamental knowledge
necessary for further study in the field of multimedia technology.
DIT1241 - Data Structure and Algorithm
This is a course where
students will be introduced the development of abstract data type and data
structures using C language. Students
also will learn to write algorithm and modifying existing data structures such
as stack, queue and binary tree.
DIT 2242 Operating Systems
This course covers the concepts of operating systems. The major components of operating systems: process management, memory management and file systems are covered in detail. This course uses the C programming language and the Linux Operating System to explore the major components of operating systems.
DIT2144 Web Design
This is a web programming course the introduction to World Wide Web, Web software, Web programming and scripting which include HTML, CSS, JavaScript, XML and PHP. Students will build complex web pages with dynamic content. The course will focus on developing interactive user interfaces that are visually interesting and friendly with dynamic effect.
