This course serves to prepare Foundation level students for Undergraduate level studies. It aims to develop students' four core language skills (Listening, Speaking, Reading and Writing) in a range of personal, social and academic contexts based on selected thematic units by introducing academic-based language skills that students will need to produce university-level pieces of work.
