At the end of this course, students will be able to:

  1. Apply the knowledge that would help in personal and professional growth (Time management, learning styles, critical thinking, lifelong learning etc)
  2. List the laws governing health care in Malaysia and be fully aware of his/her responsibilities to commit to a Code of Professional Conduct
  3. Effectively manage personal development including communication with people from different backgrounds without creating rifts and conflicts, resume writing, preparing for interview and learning.

BMS 1042 Epidemiology Batch 17 and 18

During this course, the students will acquire a basic knowledge of the epidemiology of diseases, their concepts and understand the spectrum of diseases. They will be able to appreciate health problems encountered with communicable and non-communicable diseases locally and globally.  This course introduces the students to the principles of epidemiological studies and equips them to design, conduct, analyze, and interpret the results of research.
