DME1013 Applied Physics
This course attempts to provide the fundamentals
of physics and which will be useful to all engineers. To learn the foundation
of physics like vectors, motion in one dimension, energy conservation, and
heat. It is so that the students must understand the fundamentals of physics
concepts in their daily life.
DME2107 Hydraulics
This module is intended
to introduce the basic operation of pneumatics and hydraulics. Students will be
trained to understand, design and operate the basic pneumatics and hydraulics
equipment and also will be exposed to various industrial applications related
to hydraulic and pneumatic.
DME1073 Dynamics
This
course attempts to ways to model different dynamics behaviour of different
objects and determining their motion parameters. This course also intends to
develop the students’ understanding of the principles of dynamic, particularly
the dynamics of particles, systems of particles and rigid bodies. In addition,
this course aims to develop the capacity to predict the effects of force and
motion while carrying out the creative design function in engineering.
DME1053/1243 LINEAR ALGEBRA
This course provides students an introduction to the theory and techniques of linear algebra.
