This course will introduce students to the basics of research methodology and scientific writing skills. Students will learn various research design and be able to evaluate methodologies in published works as well as be able to plan, design and conduct laboratory works to achieve the research objectives. The students will be equipped with the skills to write and publish in journals; understand the editorial and peer review processes; learn best practices for submitting a paper; and apply various referencing tools in the write-up.
