BCC1023 Persuasive and Strategic Communication

This course teaches students how to understand persuasive communication, or messages that are designed to change people's minds. It also teaches students about the ethical considerations that go into the design, dissemination, and reception of persuasive messages. This course also aims to involve students by employing public persuasion efforts and other methods.

BCC2033 Personal Image & Management July 2024

The course shows how a healthy lifestyle and stress management plays a part in professional image and career growth. At the end of the course, participants make a plan for ongoing personal and professional development. This course will also expose student on how to utilise social media platform for career advancement. 

BCC3073 CSR July 2024

In this course, students will discover, differentiate and discuss the scope and consequences of corporate decision making and decisions for various constituencies; develop a framework for discussing good corporate decisions; explore the role and responsibility of the individual in the stewardship of a culture of quality decision making; explore the role and responsibility of leadership and governance in the formation of policies and processes of good decision making and good decisions; and, understand a company’s obligation to and impact on its constituencies for the decisions that its leaders make and its employees implement.


BCC3095 PR Issues July 2024

This course equips students with knowledge on the current public relations issues. It also allows students to think critically through looking at issues such as planning, executing and evaluating public relations campaigns. This course will also expose students to elements of teamwork, creativity, critical thinking and communication skills in designing a public relations campaign.
