Mechatronic System Design Project

This course aims to provide an introduction to a systematic mechatronic system design. Based on the previously studied courses, students will learn how to apply and integrate (i.e. based on mechatronics definition) the knowledge in order to design and develop a mechatronic related system.

Project 1

Planning process  final year project for the diploma programme.

DME1113 Mechatronics Workshop

This course exposes the students to welding, machining and fitting which involve the use of arc and gas welding machine, lathe machine, milling machine, soldering tools, hand tools, marking out tools, measuring and testing tools. Students’ skills developed by individuals and in a team. Students are also taught to emphasize on safety procedures, ethics and cleanliness in the workshop.

DME2107/1093 Hydraulics & Pneumatics
