Students will be introduced to the practice of sterile dosage form preparations. Emphasis will be placed on small volume and large volume parenteral preparations and their quality assurance and quality control tests. This will assist the student in rational decision making on sterile liquid dosage form formulation excipients, methods and their storage and label requirements in industrial manufacturing, hospital and community pharmacy.
