BPH 2201 Pharmaceutical Analysis s

Synopsis This course introduces the students to the principles and practice of analytical techniques which are applied in quality control of raw drugs and dosage forms, development of new analytical procedures,  and structural determination in drug research.

Course Learning Outcomes (CLO) 

1. Recognise the concept of quality control, monographs, and pharmacopeia standard. 

2. Explain and practice the concept and principles of limit test, gravimetric and volumetric analysis. 

3. Describe the principles of analytical methods and instrumentation of polarimetry & circular dichroism, spectroscopy, electrophoresis, and     chromatography, and apply them in pharmaceutical quality control and research.
