Students will be introduced to the practice of patient-orientated clinical pharmacy and pharmaceutical care in oncology, parenteral nutrition and Fluid Therapy. Emphasis will be placed on a patient-focused pharmacotherapy including evaluating and managing pharmaceutical care issues. This will assist in rational decision-making on the most appropriate drug treatment and managing pharmaceutical outcomes for patients on these treatments.
