In this course you will examine the foundations of educational theories, philosophy, and principles to understand the driving purpose of education as we know today. This course will enable you to learn about the setting of curriculum goals, as well as the thinking that determines how and why the goals are set. Students will discuss the inter-relationship between educational theories, principles and philosophy with the forms, functions and roles of education: in schools, educational institutions and society.
