This course introduces the basic biochemistry of macromolecules and various cellular metabolism pathways to students. The course will cover the fundamental knowledge of human metabolism pathways which are later applied in the clinical biochemistry course. Understanding the principle of metabolism and its regulation is essential for students to conduct and interpret various clinical biochemical tests in their future workplace.
