This course introduces students to the basic biochemistry of macromolecules and various cellular metabolism pathways. It covers the fundamental knowledge of human metabolism pathways, which is later applied in the clinical biochemistry course. Understanding the principle of metabolism and its regulation is essential for students to conduct and interpret various clinical biochemical tests in their future workplaces.
