This course will introduce the way occupational health and safety is applied in the workplace. It covers an introduction to the key discipline areas within occupational health and safety, as well as an introduction to occupational health and safety legislation, hazard identification, concepts of hazard / risk, workplace risk assessment, accident investigation and the practical application of some of the skills required of an OSH professional.
