Digital Communications (DC)

BEC 3102 – Digital Communications is one of the core-course for those undertaking the Bachelor of Electronics Engineering (Communication) with Honours.

This course attempts to provide the fundamental to the modern connected world whether through email, mobile phones or video broadcasts. The importance and growth of the technology that feeds this market area makes the study of Digital Communications mandatory. This advanced course introduces the theory and systems engineering of modern digital communication systems. It provides the background needed for the subject’s mobile communications or satellite communications.

 Both theory and practical knowledge will be delivered in this course by the course lecturer.

Synopsis

This subject covers six key areas namely key Entrepreneurship concepts, creativity and innovation, project planning, investment analysis and industrial 4.0 activities and its opportunities.
